Understanding the User Experience in an Augmented Reality App with Data Collection

Abstract:

Analytics provide insights into user experiences in mobile apps. In augmented reality (AR) apps designed to help students visualize physics concepts, data collection provides insights into how students interact with the app while learning about abstract and 3D physics concepts, such as magnetism. Analytics enable app developers and physics education content creators to assess app performance, user behaviors, and usage trends over time. This poster presents data on the scenes visited, buttons pressed, and interactions with the image target.
